Honeymoon Packages
Perth 5 Star
Valid from 01 April 2008 – 31 March 2009

Day 1
PER Acacia Luxury Transport
G’Day! Welcome to Australia! After clearing immigration and customs, please make your way to the limousines meeting point where you’ll be met and transferred to your hotel by private vehicle.
Day 1
PER Hyatt Regency, Regency Club 3 nights (Perth Room)
Day 2 - 3
PER Australian Wild Escapes
Perth & Fremantle Full Day Experience (Departs daily)
You start by staying within the city limits and to Kings Park which occupies approximately 400 hectares of Mount Eliza overlooking the city of Perth and the Swan River. The Park has much to offer with its sweeping parklands, Botanic Garden, wildflowers (which are spectacular, especially in spring), and native bushland (two-thirds of the park). There are extensive city and river views with a panorama to the Darling Scarp. On a clear day, the Indian Ocean can be seen to the west. The magnificently sited State War Memorial is also one of several scenic vantages
On your way out of the city you stop at one of Perth’s best kept secrets, Cottesloe Beach. Cottesloe is one of Perth’s most popular beaches and attracts people looking to cool off from the hot summer heat. Its crystal clear waters, regular swell and fun atmosphere make it popular with swimmers, body boarders and surfers alike. Cotteslo&s famous pine trees which can be seen all the way from Rottenest Island provide welcome shade from the sun and grassy areas to relax in. You will enjoy morning tea overlooking the Indian Ocean. You travel to the coast and to Fremantle which oozes heritage and cosmopolitan culture. Every day of the week, the streets are abuzz with shoppers and alfresco diners, while pubs brim over with patrons from across the globe. Best known for its docks, marinas, and charming heritage sandstone buildings we head to Victoria Quay to visit the Western Australian Maritime Museum. Designed to depict a boat stranded on a sandy promontory, the museum houses famous sailing vessels along with hands on exhibits bringing sea-faring heritage to life.
Some of the state’s most popular seafood restaurants and cafés are dotted around Fishing Boat Harbour — and here you have a beautiful fish and chip lunch - the perfect place to sample the Indian Ocean’s bounty.
To finish off this exciting day you board a cruise to take you back to Perth. Your return journey follows Perth’s scenic Indian Ocean coastline via Leighton, Port and Cottesloe Beaches. One final stop at Kings Park allows time to enjoy or photograph the outstanding panorama of Perth and the Swan River before arriving back into the city late afternoon.

HAYMAN ISLAND TO BE FEATURED IN ABC NEWS GLOBAL EVENT
MARKING EARTH DAY 2007

The eyes of America will focus on Hayman this weekend as ABC News broadcasts live back to the US from the celebrated Australian private island destination in a series of programs, ‘Planet Earth 2007: Seven Ways to Help Save the World’.

At 10.00pm on Friday night (20 April), ABC News’ ‘20/20’ will mark Earth Day 2007 with a live cross to Hayman appearing during the ground-breaking US broadcast.

‘Planet Earth 2007: Seven Ways to Help Save the World’ will take viewers to each continent to witness key environmental challenges facing the world and present solutions from the chosen destinations.

As part of the coverage, Hayman will feature in a report on what is being done environmentally in Australia.

ABC News’ Bill Weir will be speaking from Hayman with Diane Sawyer anchoring the special live from New York. He will discuss Hayman’s direct involvement in the preservation of the Great Barrier Reef through a series of projects with the Great Barrier Reef Foundation and will also report on ways in which desalination plants, such as the one operating on Hayman, may be the answer to water shortages.

Then, at 11.30pm on ABC on Friday night, Bill Weir will report live from Hayman back to ‘Nightline’ where he will speak with anchors, Cynthia McFadden, Terry Moran and Martin Bashir.

On Saturday (21 April), Bill Weir will be speaking live from Hayman during ‘Good Morning America’ Weekend Edition.

“Many Americans are saying they want to do what they can to slow the effects of global warming and this broadcast will offer concrete solutions that could be achieved on a global level as well as a smaller level inside our viewers’ homes,” said ABC News Co-Executive Producer, John Green.

“In selecting a location from Australia, Hayman is ideal for its proximity to the reef and the proactive support the resort is providing for current and future Great Barrier Reef preservation projects,” said Mr Green.

Hayman’s website is featuring a dedicated page www.hayman.com.au/planetearth in recognition of the resort’s involvement with ABC News and ‘Planet Earth 2007: Seven Ways to Help Save the World.”
