Daintree Eco Lodge & Spa has again been recognised in several major international awards. In an outstanding coup, the owners, Terry and Cathy Maloney, have also been named in Australia as leading industry innovators by international Travel + Leisure Magazine, alongside well-known tourism mavericks such as Tony and Maureen Wheeler - Founders of Lonely Planet, Paul Cave - Founder of the Sydney Harbour Bridge Climb, Graham Skroo Turner - Founder of Flight Centre, Peter and Margaret Lehman - Australian Wine Makers, Graeme Wood - Founder of Wotif.com Travel website, Brett Godfrey - CEO Virginblue Airlines.
